Rules for Orange Cap in IPL 2024 ?

The player who scores the most runs throughout the IPL season will receive the Orange Cap in 2024.
As long as he has the most runs in the tournament, the hitter who holds the Orange Cap during the season is permitted to wear it while playing.
When two or more batters are tied for the lead in runs, the player with the higher strike rate wins the Orange Cap.
If an opponent batter’s total hits higher than the one wearing the Orange Cap, that prior holder may keep wearing the Cap until the end of that particular innings, at which point another batter may overtake him.
